When most people think of the Galapagos Islands, they think of sea turtles and sea lions. The Galapagos Islands are actually home to a number of bird species that can't be found anywhere else in the world. The objective of this project was to create an identity system for a company offering guided bird watching tours of the Galapagos Islands.

Burlington Area Dog Park is a small dog park in Burlington, Wisconsin. They are a non-profit organization, and they rely entirely on volunteers to keep the park up and running, as well as fun, safe, and clean for everyone. I created a clean logo that fit the fun atmosphere of the dog park, as well as an identity system and branded dog park necessities.

Logo:

Letterhead, envelope, and business cards, as well as stickers:

Branded and labeled waste container and bags:

Promotional 2 page booklet, describing the park:

Being a green tea enthusiast, I wanted to create an identity system and packaging for tea that differed from what was already on the market. The honey, blueberry, mint, and orange flavors appeal to both the regular green tea drinker and the skeptical tea drinker. The packaging's clean yet fun illustrative style stands out on a shelf, and the packaging and branding is supplemented with an iPhone and iPad app that encourages experimentation with the tea flavors.

Lightbulbs are bright, necessary, and are rapidly becoming greener by the second. I chose to brand and create packaging for CFL bulbs that was different from what is already out there, something that would be sleek, yet simple and eye-catching at the same time. By using a simple color palette and a modern, sans-serif font, I created packaging that would draw the consumer in, as well as a website, web banner ads, a print ad, and an example of an email campaign.

The aim of this group project was to design a paradigm shift of a common household product. With the green revolution, we chose to market the alternative uses of olive oil for beauty related products. The target market is mostly women, ages 18-35, who usually buy salon products, but are still environmentally conscious. Olive oil is useful as a shampoo, a shaving agent, and a hair shining agent, and provides a more natural way to enhance beauty in women of all ages. I created the logo, assisted in packaging mock-ups, as well as created an ad and web homepage.

Logo variations:

Packaging concepts in a variety of sizes:

Ad, for magazine or bus stop applications:

Website home page:
