The Galapagos Islands are actually home to a number of bird species that can't be found anywhere else in the world. I chose to brand and create packaging for CFL bulbs that was different from what is already out there, something that would be sleek, yet simple and eye-catching at the same time. By using a simple color palette and a modern, sans-serif font, I created packaging that would draw the consumer in, as well as a website, web banner ads, a print ad, and an example of an email campaign. With the green revolution, we chose to market the alternative uses of olive oil for beauty related products. The target market is mostly women, ages 18-35, who usually buy salon products, but are still environmentally conscious. Olive oil is useful as a shampoo, a shaving agent, and a hair shining agent, and provides a more natural way to enhance beauty in women of all ages. I created the logo, assisted in packaging mock-ups, as well as created an ad and web homepage.
